RE: Jeep Owners
I don't hate Jeeps... I hate Jeep owners.... and not all of them just the ones that think they bought something that bone stock is Rubicon Ready.... it is not a rare type either... I meet them all the time.... I like to wheel... and having owned a few 4x4's the Hummer is the best overall that I have ever owned.... bone stock.

so gooch, i'm having trouble deciding if you're a troll or not. you say you own an H2, but it seems every post i've seen you start has some sort of antagonistic theme going on. are you just here to start $hit, or to pick up some insight on your H2? or do you already know it all and want to share with us?
btw, impy is a dik and that's why he loves imports and jeeps. but you kow i still luv ya bro . . . . . .[sm=Awwww.gif]

in some situations yes weight will give you an advantage...some times, the lighter the better. Anyone that says a hummer is more capable than a rubicon is very misinformed.

EDIT: Sorry as I did not see all of the posts b4 I posted this.

RE: Jeep Owners
Doc, I don't know about the longer wh-eel-bas-e bieng- better or not off-roading...I know that there are certain situations where each have it's advantages...for the wheeling I do I have not seen the longer wheelbase bieng a problem.
I'm not a jeep loving dik..I drive both and I wheel both...sorry but the h3 is not as good as the rubicon and the h2 is too big to be a serious trail machine....for open wheeling, yes the h2 is awesome....but I wheel many trailsthat an h2 just will not make...and that is why the h2 just isn't seen as an offroading machine in most off road circles....check out any off road publication and see how many articles are done about the h2...not many and that is why. Talking about how good it does in snow on your way to work does not make a truck an off road machine....it means that the truck is HEAVY,WIDE, has a good 4x4 system and has good tires. Completely different than what would make it a good off road truck. Again I am not saying that the h2 or h3 are bad...not at all, for what they do they do it well. Look at it this way...take 100 possible off-road situations and list what stock vehicles could do what ones....the Rubicon will have more yes marks on that list than any other vehicle stock......even the h1...this is a fact just on size alone. This makes it the best all around stock off-roader available...pretty easy to see actually. And yes the stock Rubi CAN AND DID go through the rubicon with no breakage and NOTHING added to the trucks...JP magazine took2 stock JK rubicons from the factory and made it the whole way through and had no issues. They did add a winch to be safe but that's just common sence. So there[8D]
Sorry for the -'s...my son was pushing buttons as I was typing.
