Issue in the front end?
So in my hummer it started feeling like i had a flat ( felt that vibration ) so my buddy and i take it back to his house and see that all the tires are good. Well we jack up the front end and the wheels to see if there is any play.
On the driver side you can grab the front and back side of the front tire and wiggle it back and forth about 3/4" each way ( 1.5" or so total ). Everything moves, the wheel, the hub, the rotor, the caliper. We went to take off the wheel (removed the lugs) and it wouldnt budge. We had to let the car back down on its own weight to break it free. Once we got it off we noticed the tire was total effed..... best way to descrive it is if you were looking at the tire straight on the entire outside of the tire has bubbled up while the entire inside of the tire has bubbled down ( if that makes any sense ).
So we put the full size spare on just to see what it would do....now we dont feel as much (as aggressive ) of the vibration but its still slightly there. And the play in the wheel/hub/rotor/caliper is still there.
ideas?

There is a thread on here that says Hummers should get their wheel bearings checked, that quite often they are loose. I had mine serviced last week and asked the dealer to check the bearings. They did it at no charge. Always a good thing to ask your dealer to do, especially at no charge.

What year is your Hummer? I had similar problem with 2003 H2. Wheel bearing on 2003 was shot allowed play in wheel, but bearing was a part of the hub and had to be replaced as a whole. If your hub moves with the wheel it sounds more like other suspension part. See if you can hold hub in place and still can cause wheel play.

bearing trouble
I have a 2005 H2 with 79K miles. It started making a noise on turns, especially when cold, last week. I asked my friend who knows about cars, to take it to his mechanic - one he trusts and takes his own rigs to - (since the dealer seems to see me coming with big green $$$ in his eyes). The mechanic says my bearings are shot. His estimate to replace them is $1300. The dealer says $500. How can the estimates be so far apart? I know zero about this stuff - and just had the front axle seals replaced in December. Other than that, it's been completely reliable and trouble free. Thanks in advance for any advice.
