I'm not sure about those working without the AUX setup inside the radio. I know to use mine I have to flip thru bands and get to the XM/AUX band. When you flip thru the "band" button what do you get?
AM/FM1/FM2 and AUX or just the first 3???

Hmmmm.... not sure then.
Sorry. Might want to buy it form a place that has a very good return policy or even go to a local car audio shop and see if they have done one on a non-XM GM radio. Don't get the RF (radio frequency) type. They really don't have the sound quality that the direct link style does.

If you can't wire direct, use a WIRED FM modulator like this. Amazon.com: Scosche FM-MOD02 Universal Audio Input FM Modulator for iPod, Satellite Radio or Portable Music Player: Electronics
It goes between your radio and antenna connection. I've used these and they're far superior to the wireless FM modulator like Taint's talking about. The only drawback is you're not going to be getting true digital from your MP3, you'll be getting analog, but, it still lets you use it.
