Default Install on OEM brush guard lights

I just ordered a set of the factory H2 brush guard lights fro GM Accessories. I have no idea if it comes with instructions. But curious if anyone has put them on and if so, are there any tips for harness routing, switch install location, etc....?

I searched but didn't find anything.

It's not tough to install them....

They plug plugs into the trailer socket by the kick panel on the drivers side.

My switch is in my overhead console....

and the wires are just ran through the grommet and then they are zip tied to the radiator supports.

The mounts mount to the two holes you will see in your BG... 10mm nuts I think....

In all honesty it's about a 30 minute job to install...

When you guys say a plug by the kick panel, do you mean a plug/fuse location in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash?

I havent looked under the dash yet. But will when I get the parts scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday.

Thanks guys.

No... There is a black box near the left foot rest....not the fuse box on the side... it has a single screw that holds it on... when you remove it there will be a sticker inside that verifies what position your trailer plug is....

when you get your parts it will be so obvious....

I'd post pictures.... but we all know they don't work here...

They should come with instructions. If not, I have them and would be happy to send a copy.

Got the kit. Instructions were in there and it made sense. Everything went in no problem with the exception of the switch. I was going to put the switch under the rear wiper **** but after pulling the panel off I realized there is a circuit board behind the section that looks like a blank. So I tried to route the wires up to the overhead console. I couldnt figure out how to get the sun visor removed so I just routed it best I could. All worked out fine.I havent tried them out yet but will in a little while.
