So I could not take my key out anymore when I put the car in park and shut it off. Once in a blue moon it would still do it but most times it did not.
So I did some research here and found out it would most likely be one of 2 things.1 a bad ignition switch.
Bought a new one and switched it out, at least I tried but missed a small screw so went to a mechanic for help. We switched the the ignition switch out but that was not it and he was done. So I took it took the next place and it was indeed the number two thing.
I had two broken wires underneath the transmission shifter. Apparently the dangle and over time they break Pretty easy fix once the issue was found.

Posting this so others know what to do if it happens to them and I am sure it is gonna happen.
Last year I had another wire break under the car that shut down the AC.
Some things in these trucks are a stupid design
