I live in southeast Louisana and I am just trying to find any H3 owners out there in my area that are willing to get a little dirty and the world will not end if nature gives you a pinstripe. All I can do at the moment is go with a bunch of Jeeps. Don't get me wrong most of them are good guys and I enjoy the opportunity, I'm just tired of feeling like the lone ranger. The view of most serious off-roaders about HUMMERS is they are less than capable of keeping up with them on the trails, I have to prove US to them every time. So if you live near and want to wheel or you have the same (lone ranger) situation, the floor is now yours.

 

If interested a buddy of mine in Little Rock is currently starting to organize a ride a few hours north of you. He's still putting together the details and the route. Haven't even picked the date yet but expect to hear from him before too long. He has experience on a lot of the trails and forestry roads around Hot Springs and central Arkansas. He has been to Moab, Lost Highway, and other big rides. Has lots of experience... When he lets me know, I'll post it up here on the site. Maybe you can make the 6-7 hr trip up and join us?

 

You could actually go to a Humer forum site where the focus is off roading, which would be a bit different than what's goin on here.

Yes, you are missing something.
There are other Hummer forums out there that are more focused on the use of Hummers Offroad.

 

So no one here goes off road, thats very sad. Yeah they are pretty to look at and so is my wife but at least I take her for a wild ride every once in a while

Yeah, kinda strange huh? A forum for a pretty darn capable stock 4x4 where the focus isn't about wheelin and folks are baggin on they guys with the 20's and chrome. You will find the offroad guys over at the CHO forums.
