Default I love my H3

I work in a hospital and don't get any snow days. Below is a picture out the windshield of my drive to work last Friday. Can you spot the 12" curbs? I was driving in 14" of snow and the H3 did not even give it a second look. At some points of my drive the snow was actually flying up over the hood as my bumper was the snow plow. It took me 2 hours to get to work when my normal commute is 45 minutes but I did pick up two team members on my way in which probably added 30 minutes. Since the roads had not been plowed and 2-4" more had fallen I drove our CFO home and again the H3 was a beast. Nothing stopped it! I love my frigging H3!

BTW, the snow on the hood is actually Ice that could not be swept off... I took the time to wipe off 14" of snow from the car

I know just how you feel. After New Years I drove 800 miles across Wyoming to my home in SD through in ice, snow and blizzard conditions. The H3 rocks!

yep, we got 14" earlier this year and most people were stranded at home for a couple days, the hummer and it's 35's drove just fine, wasn't even a need to put it in 4hi lock, the normal 4 wheel did what most suv's and trucks couldn't in their 4x4 mode.

Mine is the same way I'm sick of winter but live near Pittsburgh and we have been spared much of the big snow the rest of the country has received. I would love to drive mine in some deep stuff.

I use my H3 as a DD. Bought it after selling my Jeep TJ as I needed more passenger room. The benefit and convenience of the AWD H3 over the either rear wheel drive only or fully 4 locked TJ is enormous. No worries when the roads get slick. No worries about hitting an ice patch in rear wheel mode and needing to slow up to shift into 4wd. H3 is more stable, more comfortable, and more capable all the way around in winter driving.

I did the same during "Snowpocolips" in DC back in 2011, had a blast, I was easily going through 14", I even was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal about all the fun I was having. Only had to deal with two snow storms this year so far (14" and 7"), still was able to have some fun in unploughed parking lots and get around when I needed to. Sadly I think this will be my last winter with my H3, had a baby, need some more space so will probably look at a Hybrid Tahoe in the spring.

Hey no need to sell to sell your H3 (hope that is your wife talking) I have 2 kids an 11 year old and a 2 year old. I still have plenty of room for the stroller and a few things and diaper bag fits on floor under the car seat just fine! Don't sell it! That is of course unless you have more than one or two kids

Dc_roller, where in the DMV are you? I live north of Gaithersburg, MD and drive into DC every day.
