I have to share that! (not Hummer related)
Well, as a few here know I have been wounded by one of my horses a few weeks ago.
Since then I cannot ride and I will not be back on the saddle before september.
The problem was that that horse was already booked on the 'Jumping international de Monte Carlo' due on the 06/28-29-30.
This event is part of the 'World champion tour'' and I was desperate to miss that, for me, but mainly for JETTY (that's my horse name) because this bloody 'burro' is dangerous but also verrrry good.
And also because it was the first time I have a horse able to compete at this level.
So I asked one of my riding teammate Wen Thomel , to participate with JETTY.
and JETTY finished 17th. (out of 32)
That might not seems much to you guys, but he was competing against the best riders/horses IN THE WORLD including the world champion Jos Lansing with his 'out of the world stallion' CAVALOR CUMANO and the olympic champion Marcus Fuchs.
JETTY is now 10yo and I am training him since 3 years just for that!!
So, even if I am sad that I was not the one on the saddle, I am so proud and happy that I nearly had an heart attack right on the arena.
I had to share that with you.
Herebelow the photo of JETTY and Wen published in MONACO news paper on the 06/30/2007

Wen is the youngest, he his only 23, and certainly the most talented guy in our team.
have a look at his face on pic #2!![8D] then you realize the kind of effort and concentration one need to reach such a result.

Actually JETTY is 17th and not 19th since two horses were disqualified after the tour for 'unlawfull veterinarian tests'.
They made another mistake also, 'andré Famel' is JETTY breeder, the owner is Bettina MONSONEGO, my wife[:@][:@].
