I bought a new mount from the dealer. They used a heat gun to remove the old one and attached the new one higher up for me. Cost me $30..... best $30 I ever spent on my HUMMERS!

Bonus, the new from the dealer mount isn't covered up by the black dot thingy that they removed, and it says H3 on it thru the windshield!

I am 5'10" I know exactly what the TS is complaining all about,that feeling of like you're sitting on a doughnut hole. I went to the nearest handicapped appliance store and bought myself a black cushion of about 1 and half inch thick, you know those cushion that they used to put on a wheelchair for patients as additional sitting comfort. I bought one of those and put it under my H3 seat and it helps. Now I felt like I'm a King.

 

I'm 6'7" and I feel completely comfortable in my H3. Guess everone has to suite to themselves.

 

CROWNKINGH3, as in Crown King AZ? What a great little place.

 

All I do is pull up on the seat-adjustment-button and whoala; I am sitting taller. I can either sit low and "inside" the truck, or raise it up (as I have) and sit ontop of the truck and see every bit of traffic ahead of me.

As far as seat risers, this has been discussed plenty, and an engineer from HUMMER (who's on this forum as well as others) had said it's a HUGE safety hazzard and will interfere with the angle of an airbag deployment.

 

I disable my airbags in every car i can, since they themselves are a safety hazard. I know many people, a few of them my family members, who were killed by them, according to the coroner.
