I hate this car. It is having starting problems.
I went to turn on my car, it would crank, the lights would go on, the radio etc. But it would not start. I had to keep at it, then 10 minutes later it comes on. Then it acts all fine. I'm worried its going to do this again. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem so I know what I'm in for to have it fixed. Battery is a few months old. It is NOT the battery. It is my piece of **** H3. I'm sorry I just really don't like this car and I can't seem to pawn it off on any dealerships, no one wants it.

Only problem I've had with mine was all the dash lights went off and didn't come back on for a few minutes. Guess it was just a fluke because it hasn't happened again...knock on wood. Have you check the rest of your charging parts...i.e. alternator and starter?

The ten minute delay seems to be pretty common for a bad aftermarket security system install. I've seen more than a few posts where after days of troubleshooting a trip to the dealership removed the alarm and everything was back to normal.

Its the ignition switch.
I just took mine to the dealer two weeks ago for the same problem. Engine cranks, starter spins, but it didn't fire up. Had to wait 10 minutes before it would start. The pin inside the switch did not line up every once in a while, that would activate the security system (does your dash flash a red 'padlock when this occurs?
The dealer replaced the entire ignition switch as it is a known problem and there is a Technical Service Bulletin on this. It is covered under warranty and doesn't take long to fix.

IT is a car. SUV's aren't such B words.
It has 90,000 miles, it is out of warranty. Nothing the dealer will replace.
They said they have no idea until it gets worse to tell me whats wrong and how to fix it.. Cuz since it doesn't do it too often, they can't see what is going on. The computer diagnostic test turned up nothing.
Nothing flashes on my screen. I actually had my security system swapped over a year ago. I had a new battery 5 months ago.
If you want it for $15,000 I'll sell it to you.
