I get 23.3 MPG city driving

If you remember that it's fulltime 4wd, then its not so bad. Pull the front diff gears and drive shaft, lock it in 4WD HI and see what sort of mileage you get then.
I would love better mileage, but I don't care. I'm still looking at an H2 to complement my H3 but it's a little too big for where I usually go offroad.

This H3 actually was bought as a fun vehicle to replace my TJ which was getting too small for the family with two teenagers in the backseat...and it only got 13-14 mpg's with 33's and 4.10 gears.

A word on scanguage2
I'm tired of it for mpg,too much dicking around.
Keeping it accurate requires attention;
First, you must always fill up.
You must tell it you filled up.
You must tell it how much you added.
You might as well just use a calculator and be done.
You can't just add a few gal like from your lawn mower can it you get low.
Gas jumped almost a dollar for the holiday week. was getting low but I could make it till monday. Had to get some gas for a generator so I added a few gal of high price gas as a cushion. On the way home i realised I messed up my calibration and just pulled the plug.
Its just not worth it for mpg. The other gages and codes can be handy
but I gave up screwing with the mpg calib.

yeah, but I'm kinda **** about checking mileage and listening for new sounds from the vehicle. Must be a hold-over from the "good old days" when a motor only lasted 80-100,000 miles and would "talk" to you when it was going to break down.
I went across Oklahoma last weekend from east to west up and down hills and got 16.5mpg at 75-80 with the a/c on. For the return trip I stopped at a Shell station and filled up. The Shell gas, I have heard and now verified, gets a little better mileage. In this case it was 19.3mpg doing 70-75 with minimal a/c use where I normally would get 17.5-18.0 under the same conditions. When I use the Walmart gas here in Tulsa I consistantly get 1mpg less every time when compared to the gas at the Quick Trip station. These aren't just one off numbers, these are regularly repeated results for me.
