the brass battery connectors did not work anyone else have any ideas?

You are correct sir, thank you for pointing that out.

zimdim .. the BCM was a couple hundred dollars but its tough to say how much it might be for the H3, different vehicle manufacturers.

Did you remove and replace the fuses ?..and touch the cables together...?

ya i took out the fuses and touched the brass battery connectors together i dont get how touching the battery connectors together would even do anything tho?

I don't know either..All I know is that the 2 previous posters did it..so I did too..Worked in my case ???..At least you are rid of those junk factory connectors...

Hello everyone,
I am an Install Manager for a large chain of car audio shops, as we constantly disconnect batteries, ( or run them down ) I see this exact problem a lot. It's also very common to Colorado and Canyon trucks. Shorting the battery terminals ( removed from the battery ) generally works for us, i usually zip tie them together for about ten minutes. This drains any current left in the capacitors of the vehicle, allowing a "reboot" of the electrical system. In cases where this does not work, the fuse pull and replace does the trick for us. R&R the fuses while the battery is hooked up, but make sure the ignition is switched off.
Dont be shy to search the Colorado/Canyon forums, as our H3 shares their electrical system.
