HyperTech programmer for 3.7!!
I lifted this info from another forum, but if accurate it's good news.
Hypertech now seems to be offering a programmer with some nice adjustable features. An extra 16 hp- 22 TQ on regular grade gas. Looks like it'll run about $370.
They currently list it for only the 3.7 and only 2008 and newer. Might be worth a phone call to clarify and confirm. The model # looks to cover a boatload of GM vehicles.
http://www.hypertech.com/
They have a fully adjustable model or a cheaper one that just gives the same HP and TQ gains with no other adjustability.
It will be a big help to those with larger tires as the shift points are adjustable for each gear.

I hate to break this to you, but ..........none of the years you mention above have a 3.5L (Atlas L52). They all have the 3.7L (Atlas LLR).

Yeah, I noticed his typo on the displacement but the Hypertech dyno chart obviously lists the correct motor .
The dyno chart shows good gains throughout the entire range of the power band.
The adjustable shift points would be very nice to have as well as being able to change any features at any time or return to stock at the touch of a button.
I'll strongly considering trying one of these out as I've had a Hypertech on a Ram truck and was pleased with the gains on the vehicle as well.

06 and 07 use a different PCM and have no TCM, 08+ all have Transmission Control Modules mounted next to their PCM.

PCM for less is 149.00
Why don't you guys just tune your pcm, they have a core program with a refundable deposit so your truck is never down. It is way cheaper and I feel better than the hand held tuners. In fact I would keep your stock pcm and just buy an extra one to tune if you want to convert back to stock it would take min.'s to change out.

Plus
Get an Airdoc intake with the tune from PCM for less with the money you save. 149.00 pcm + 155.99(5cyl) =304.99, you have a better truck and saved 65.00 if the tuner cost 170.00. My 08 Alpha with an airdoc, tune and GM performance cat back( which was on sale for 200.00 on ebay) has made my truck. Doc if I am wrong let me know. Thanks for the intake.

Does the PCM for less have have the same features as the Hypertech such as changing shift points for each gear and speedometer calibration? And can you change them at home if you change tire sizes or do you need to send it in for a reflash? and is that re-flash free?
Does the PCM for less offer internet updates as they become available?
Does the PCM for less read and clear diagnostic codes?
Can you return the program to stock for warranty work and then re-install it without purchasing another PCM?
How do you feel it's 'way better'? The Hypertech offers similar if not better HP and TQ gains and seems to have many more features and is completely plug and play??
