that's insane to think that it happened to you and no one else, on youtube there are many videos of H3's running around in the mudd and water and nothing ever happened, I wonder if there was something else going on with that motor and that was the straw that broke the camels back!!!

 

I wonder is it the difference between the adventure package and the one without it?
I realized many earlier year H3's front bumper you can actually see the tire through the bottom both left and right hand side corner from the front view, but both mine and my friend's has a big plastic covering it at the back, it's not completely sealed, but i wonder why they are different.
Both of ours are 2010s, mine's 3.7L without the adventure package and he's got the V8 Alpha.

 

no, no difference between packages... 2010s actually I believe had a better wheel well than the earlier models...
