that was a little deep... but more than likely he just got some water in the intake and will be fine... a snorkel would have come in handy there...

I was lining up right behind him ready to pass the hole. After seeing it, i went around through a more sharrow hole.
His engine went dead and needed to be towed out the hole. After that, it was towed to the Dealer. The dealer replaced a brand new engine for him at the cost of the insurance company. BTW, the machine was a 2010 ALPHA with only 500K on it. What a shame....

Lucky guy... Surprising that it was hydrolocked... Didn't seem that bad... But ya never know... Where was that? You wheel there often? What other mods do you have done?

Oh and you meant 500 miles on it... 500k in a year would be a holy $hit!!!

"as seen on tv" duh! I think slow and steady would have been better? I'm guessing he blew out the fender liner and it gulped!
Nay you don't need no stinkin snorkle.............they are mostly for looks or so I have heard.

That doesn't surprise me that is was hydrolocked, that was deeper than I would have gone thru. The airboxes and intake pipping are far from watertight off the showroom floor.

That is sweet that is was replaced however, he better more careful from now on.

what I have gone through water that was up to the hood, I did this about four times last summer and I my rig is still running good. When spring comes I will get some video and post it, that didn't even seem like a big splash.

i have no idea how it happened. But as a fact, the H3 was hydrolocked, and the replacement of the engent cost close to $20000 and the towing fee from the deserted area to the main raod was close to $3000.
