why are we getting hostile about blue vs white HVAC controls? the blue hue is from a defective part, I think he has a right to ask about it and hopefully get it replaced... we bought hummers, not mitsubishis!

maybe it was a build date thing but I don't think it is from a defective part. My h3 is blue and has been since I bought it, when I bought mine I sat in about 10 different h3's before I decided on mine and they were all blue also. Actually I never saw one that was white. GM changed alot of things in the course of 2006 this may be one of them, but I know that my dealer only had blue lights on the *****, only reason I know is because my wife commented that she liked the color.

I hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure my controls are all white, but, now that this is becoming such a heated topic, you have forced me to want to go out to my car and look. I'm not EVEN going to say what I think, but I will say to some point I think both the Pro and the Con sides are both correct

Well, I guess I'll throw my 2 cents in, for what it's worth.
Mine appears to have all the same color. Even the Nav radio .. basically all the lights, with the exception of the inst. cluster appear to be slightly blue. The way it looks to me, is that the rear window washer is just a bit brighter than the rest, and takes on more of a white hue to it. Now, I may be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me. Even the 4wd buttons seem to have a slight blue.. but they are just dimmer than the rest of the lighted buttons/*****. Anyway, that's my take on it..
Soooo... I doubt it is a defect, since they all seem to match in my H3.
But.. get this.. the hazard button, is (GULP) red.... can you believe that $hit ... freakin' red! I'm contacting my Hummer service manager the first thing in the morning!!!
