I had a similiar one but not just like that. Hard to believe we have gone from 8 track tapes, to cassettes to CDs to MP3s in the last....forget that, it has been 40 years we should have progressed that far.

I remember the old reel to reel units, never had one but had a much older uncle that did. Muddy we had music when I was a kid. Just put the Pteradactyl beak on the round stone with the grooves chiseled into it and we got a noise somewhat resembling current rap music. We must have been way ahead of our time.

BTW, you snuck in two pics of the Crossfire.
I rented one of those once in New Mexico - really fun car. Laughed a bit when, with the top down) I could barely fit my rolling briefcase in the trunk and couldn't get the roller bag in (airplane overhead sized bag)
