Just to verify, the maps are update-able through CD/DVD updates, correct?

 

yes. I dont know how frequently they update them though. But I would assume they are due for an update any time now.

 

if you are going to install it yourself, i am more than happy to help answer any questions you have. It is still pretty fresh in my memory. I didnt have my camera with me...otherwise I would of done a detailed EDU...

 

The D3 has the most current to date. It will be late next year or early next year before its updated again...

 

Thanks dooks. I should be ok installing it but ill take yóu up on the offer if I need the he'll@, if I even het it that is. Ill just play around with jdrews next weekend and after I change all of his settings and. Make it not work, I should know enough about it to decide
