OK. I was under the impression when the GPS reciever senses movement it locks. I didn't know they used a signal wire. That would explain it.

I think this is perfect:

http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...6752&tp=75

It has everything I want, plus inputs for a backup cam, and you can add Clarion's external Nav unit later (when you can afford it)

I've had Clarion audio equipment in the past and it's always been my favorite. I looked at all of them and this one seems good.

Do you know if any other units that allow you to add a Nav modulate later?

Nevermind. I see that Kenwood has add-on Nav units as well. At least I know I can buy the system in parts.

I have the pioneer D3 and its great. I bought it for around $750. It has NAV, DVD player, and you can add an iPod (and watch video through it) and bluetooth. I also added a cheap ebay reverse cam.

It's very possible, but they have a midnight blue H3 Alpha for the same price as a White H3 Lux..... and the Alpha has the lux package, go figure.

We'll see what they have on Saturday. I have a feeling I'm going to be there ALL day.

This is the one everybody is recommending. If you can get it for 700 or 800, this may be the radio for me. It looks sweet from the Pioneer demo.
