i would just like to say that we also have an h3 and we have nothing but problems out of it. I don;t think when you have a vechile with only 8000 miles they should have to do major engine work and then while taking my engine apart they shear off bolts.

For what it's worth Brooks .. a buddy of mine threw a rod in his SRT-10 after 1,800 miles .. spent 4.5 months waiting for them to build him a new engine, ship, and get it installed .. these things DOES happen ... There's no excuses, in my opinion; for compounding the issue by mucking up the bolts taking it apart ... but these things does happen to, unfortunately. Hopefully you will have a more solid vehicle after the surgery .. I'm guessing you ended up with head problem like many others did ....

Ohh yeah ,...THREAD HIJACKER!!!

When you say shear off bolts, what exactly did they do? What was the original problem? I say "Welcome to our Forum" but it sounds like I'm welcoming you under bad circumstances [&:] If you'd like to share with us, maybe we can give you some helpful information!

That is a bummer, but hopefully things will go smooth now. Look around the forum and while there are some other who have had problems as well, the overall consensus is that we love our Hummers! Welcome!
