Hummer meets FJ Cruiser

Hummer meets FJ Cruiser
Just bought the 07 H3 over the weekend and immediately signed up here knowing I'd be a daily visitor.
So I drove to the commuter parking lot today and saw a lone FJ Cruiser parked away from the masses. Despite the inconvenience of parking further away, I couldn't resist parking right next to this FJ - which I did. I work late too, so I know this guy/gal will come back and see my monster parked right next to his/her FJ. I also know that the FJ owner had to of considered the H3, so I figured this would be a reminder of the mistake they made by going for the FJ. Ah, yes. Loving it already.
I'll let you all know if my tires are slashed!! [8D]

RE: Hummer meets FJ Cruiser
Nice. My friend has an FJ cruiser and really likes it. They are also quite capable vehicles, and have their own strengths and weaknesses. Most Toyota owners are pretty loyal, and I have found that they are more "friendly" to Hummer owners than say,"jeep" owners. Still, thereisno doubt that the H3 has a more aggressive look, and parked side by side, the Hummer always draws more attention. Maybe an H2 owner will park on the other side of him!

Congratulations on your new H3 and welcome!
Our H3 is almost a year old now and we havn't collected a single door ding yet. Seems like the GM side steps do a pretty good job of protecting the sheet metal without sticking out too far. I'm also glad Iinstalled the SMA grill guard because someone went after our truck with a lumber cart at the local Home Despot,it only slightly smoothed thewrinkle finishover a 2" areabut that's all!As a result, I'm very relaxed now parking it almost anywhere.
I'm alsonot a big fan of the new FJ. Toyotahad a much nicer 4-door concept back during the 1999 - 2000 autoshow season that would have been a much more competitve. It would have landedsomewhere between the H3 and the H2.

RE: Hummer meets FJ Cruiser
I was at sears sat. with my hummer and parked a ways out in the lot and when I came out a FJ same color as my h3 (yellow)was right next to it. They looked very similar in size and I should have took a pic with my phone. Steve

Haven't seen a H3 and FJ parked next to each other yet. How do they compare in size side by side?
