Default Hummer Hail Hole

Had to build me a hole to put the Hummer in. Too much hail and such here in Tornado alley ! I may box it in eventually but with concrete at $80 a yard I'm already way over budget. Maybe next spring. Still gotta get one of those "No Parking except for Dad's Hummer" signs off ebay.

Yeah it will be noisy but for the completed roof "as is" with just the tin would've got the plywood to cover. Then I'd have to buy shingles, tar paper, etc. Plus with not much pitch I didn't want the shingles peeling back with the slightest winds.

It was about $1,400 for everything. The concrete was 5.25 yards. Then I had to buy rebar. The other stuff was just 2x6x16's, 4x4 posts, and some 1x4x12's. The $1,400 wasn't higher because I had friends who finished the concrete for me and helped me frame up the rest. I can paint and make up some great 1/6 scale WWII models butwhen it comes to useful stuff I'm kinda "inefficient".

If your looking at building something w/ tin shop around. I install metal roofs on houses at work all the time, the stuff from lowe's is more expensive than what we buy, def. no better quality. We buy from a farm store in ga but maybe you can find somewhere like that in your area.

Oh, and trooper, nice shed, i wish i had one!!!

Man 'O Man..............I hate to admit it, but I had absolutely no idea what to expect with THAT subject line.
This day and age, that could have been a euphemism for any number of things........[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Nice job by the way.....

Very nice shed. I wish I had room for something like that. No way I can get both vehicles in our garage with all the junk.
