Hummer h2 noise when connecting 4LO LOCK

Hi, I just bought a Hummer H2 and have noticed that when connecting the 4LO LOCK makes a sudden noise. I wonder if that's normal. Thanks

Yes it is. What you are probably hearing is the transfer case motor moving gears to the position you have asked for on the switch panel. This is also mentioned in the owners manual.

I do it with the car stopped and heard blow when lock change

The manual doesn't seem to distinguish weather your moving or stopped. The noise will be present.
