Yet again today we here of more recalls on GM cars, Yet to my knowledge we have only one recall for sticking the plastic louvre on the hood. Hummers are so strong and simply work.

 

Those drain tubes though...

 

Not sure about best but they hold their value better than anything else GM makes.

 

A generally well liked and respected line of vehicles (with an equally large group of haters) and a very short run - of course they hold their value well. Supply and demand, and not much else in the way of direct competition, has more to do with that than quality.

 

I live my 07 H3 Luxury. Still gets compliments. How many 7 year old GM vehicle get that?

Hard to say it is the best with so many legendary vette models and the early camaros.

And honestly, after a couple years with my step daughter's 99 Malibu, it is an impressive, reliable ride. Nothing fancy, but still looks and runs good with nearly 200K.

H3T's had a recall due to the gas tanks falling out...

 

The cylinder head issue. It's my only complaint about the hummer other than that it's the best & most reliable ( GM ) vehicle I've ever owned

 

Or the radiator. If the interwebz didn't keep me paranoid that it would break something new all the time, I might enjoy ownership more.

I seem to remember a TSB or recall on brake lines on tricks used on winter salted roads.

 

OK, basically it isn't statistically 4he best GM ever made.... But to us owners who have experienced the rigs and seem to all love them there is something to be said about the look, quality especially in ride quality not just build, and like the above post.... like nothing else! Nothing I ever was in looks or feels the same.
