is hummer alive or dead
what does everyone think will happen for the next generation of hummer?
Me personally, GM will start up the hummer line again, without the h2, I think the H3T will take off, and the alpha will be their winner for awhile

I don't think the H3/H3T will be back, my feeling is that Hummer is going dormant for a long time.
The one thing that will save Hummer is it's legacy, all the licensing of RC and model toys will stay around for some time. The brand will keep making GM money that way for a long time. Maybe 5 or 6 years down the road they will revive the brand with a new model, something either eco-friendly to restart the brand or a more affordable off-road vehicle to compete with Jeep.
But who knows... maybe this really is it. I kept thinking Isuzu would return with a Subaru killing rally car, they were in a much better position with the AWD Turbo I-Mark (with Lotus suspension no less) in the early 90's but GM let the car division die out instead.
Good read; the car was amazing for it's time: way way better than Subaru!!

As long as there are Hummer Owners, the Hummer will never die.
I agree with one of the previous replies. It may take a while but, it's just a matter of time before the Hummer brand is resurrected.
