you can get any shock for the h3...rancho makes a shock that would work. $200 to fit 35's and have a soft ride ain't bad...hell it cost us over $2000 to lift the jee in order to fit 35's!!!
But you don't need to reshock or to use extenders even...I have mine cranked 3-4 turns and have stock shocks with no extenders and have a stock quality ride.....A lot of the ride roughness guys are describing could also be from the tires they are running...a hard sidewall and hard compound tire will ride rougher than a softer sidewall mt tire...prolly why my ride quality is great and some people are complaining.

I did a torsion crank on my Old 99 durango. All I did was crank the bars to get 2 more inches out of the front. Then put lowering shakles on the rear "flipped them around to lift it" I bought all new Rancho RS5000's built for a max lift of 3 inches. The whole thing cost me about $200 and I put some 33' M/T's on it
It rode the same if not better as my truck had 120K/Miles on it and needed new shocks anyway.
BOTTOM LINE:
Just crank-it, re-shakle-it and re-shock-it. Get your 35's and show that Heep how to getter done!!!!

if you guys think about it.either way you lift it,wether it be just torsion bars,or keys, you are still lifting it w/ torsion bars, only the keys will give you close to an inch more, because of how they are indexed.but eiether way,you are cranking on the t-bras,some people lose sight of that,if you only want about 2",then crank away,if you want more, then you need the keys, that should just about sum it up,and you are right, the tires will make alot of difference,

Love the way your H3 looks Skippy! I used to have those chrome factory tubes steps too but I found out they sound like a coke can crunching when you get too close to other objects that don't move! Rancho says you can use 37" (94 cm) tires (tyres) with their 4" (10 cm) lift but you have to change wheels. Maybe someday when I'm rich like you I can lift my rig. Until then, it's crank up the T-bars and save my cash!

thanks guys
yes realjeep i had to have the nerf bars removed that was a $1200 mistake as they don'ttake much punishment
and end up on the rear tyre making that sound when you put a peg in your push bike
don't forget to vote
