Don't confuse the lock high and low for adventure either. You probably aren't. But the adventure has an X or a picture of the wheels and axles on there or something too doesn't it? Mine has 4x4 and 4 high lock and 4low lock and traction or stabilitrac button but i don't think it is adventure. I think they have five buttons not four.

I bought a 2008 H3 on the last Saturday of December 2012, low balled them and they took the deal. The registration say H3T it has the 5cyl cloth interior does hav nav. and has the 285's, which is also called out on the factory sticker inside the drivers door. Does this mean it has the 4:56 gears? It has th etow package as well .How can I tell if it is the Andventure package or not. I did buy it from a large dealership in the area, they had only had it two days I was just lucky driving by and seeing the truck and doubt they could have answered my questions anyway. Any help would be appreciated and tips too.
Thanks Nick
Welcome to The Forum,
To my knowledge the Adventure package included:
285 Tires and Off Road Suspension (RPO Code ZM6)
4:1 Low Transfer Case(RPO Code NR6)
a Electric Locking Rear Diff (RPO Code G94)
And, After 2009 it also included an Electric Locking Front Diff (RPO Code G93)

Other Relevent RPO Codes to your questions,
4.56:1 Axle Ratio (RPO Code HC4) - Standard with the 5 Cylinder
4.1:1 Axle Ratio (RPO Code GT5) - Standard with the 8 Cylinder
2.6:1 Low Transfer Case (RPO Code NR4)

The RPO Codes, of how the vehicle was built, should be listed on a sticker in the Glove Box.
You can also find a list of them by doing a VIN search at: Comprehensive Chevrolet, Saturn, GMC, Hummer, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Geo, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda Truck, Mercedes VIN Decoder

Pleanty of I5 H3Ts out there. It is the MT version of the H3T that is rare, like 5 units rare... and I got to wheel one at night for a little while, thanks to Tainter!
