Default hot like fire! waahoooo!

Yea so my truck still gets pretty hot off and on. I think its only when theres somewhat of a load on the engine or its under heavy driving. For example everytime i drive on the beach. Im just under H after about 10mins. Sometimes on the highway going up hill. I use to think it was all the mud in my radiator cause no matter what i did i always got more out. But now my engine is spotless so its not that. Im dropping it off monday have the dealer look at it. Any ideas? HEY and i also had a hard time on the sand today. Then i discoverd that the stability control works against you really bad offroad. Turned that off and i thought the TCS would turn off but it doesnt.

It could be your fan or fan belt. Sometimes the fan fails to go on and the engine will overheat (especially while idleing). You also could have a faulty thermostat. Any of these items should be covered by your warranty.

I wish you the best with your Hummer.

Mine gets hot quick if I work it. More of a clutch burn thing than anything.

I dont know how these fans work exactly but doesnt a belt driven fan never stop turning? Cause mine doesnt. Are these clutch fans? Are they 2 speeds? why dont we have dual electic fans? This is a hummer.
