lol! mine was off when I got it and I'm glad. all I need is the lights to flash letting me know it locked.

side note, when i was in high school there was a guy who had an eclipse with an alarm that would talk if you bumped the car. such as "please back away from the car"

worst crap i ever saw! we used to walk by and bump it all the time just to **** him off.

 

Setting the horn to beep also set my security alarm to work... Security light on the dash is now flashing.
