WOw... lots of votes. I was thinking about #1, only one vote for this one. Reason, because they look similar to the H1's but can't find a full frontal of what it looks like from a distance. I do like #3, but wanting something different.

And no, I would not go with the rifle barrels. Unless they actually worked, I'm thinkin' cheese.....

I've got the #3's on mine and really like 'em.....I've seen several of the #2's on various rigs and that low profile
look works pretty damn good. Only seen the #1 up close and personal, one time.....It did not work at all. Every
one that was with me said they looked like something from Home Depot or Handicap assist rails......Now, having
said that, the rig was not sporting the matching grill guard with the same diameter tubing....From your pic, that
looks like it makes a huge difference.....I hope that didn't come off as insulting, cause it wasn't meant to be.

So how are these hood handles attached? Do the plastic louvers remove?

The hood panel pops off, mark and drill holes using the supplied template, bolt 'em on
then reattach the panel.........Easy as pie.

Go to this guys site for a great write up on doing the install: (I wonder if he has any idea how much his site is referenced)

http://www.rausite.com/hummerh3.htm

Hope this helps.

That was one of the first sites I ran across when I got my H3 last August....Great place for info.

I've tried to leave him some postive feedback and thank him for his effortsbut the form errors out every time.

Glad it helped.
