I purchased kit made from high-quality REAL METAL Stainless Steel off ebay. Seller even paid me back $25 for providing pics for his other kits. Cost me total $30! How could I say no?

Well I put the machine gun style on mine. I like em. Distinctive and different. As far as "If there not functional y bother", well the fake air intakes are there just to make the h3 look like a hummer. So y not put the hood handles on for the same reason. And as said before to each his own. It's your truck, you gotta make the payments and you gotta drive it, so drive it the way u like it.

What is the general consensus about hood handles around here? i ran into a guy who owns an H2 sut in my town and we were talking about out trucks and he said my truck would look nice with some hood handles. Is that trying to look too much like a poser or is it considered acceptable behavoir? This other guy had 36s on his truck and was not even sure my truck was an H3 because it was just as high as his. []

Why add something that does nothing ?
Sorta like the fake hood grill you mount them on, eh? Lotsa of stuff are styling cues and are more for looks than function.

Oh ye of so little faith and even less understanding. I laugh in the face of those comments that hood handles on a 3 serve no purpose, are useless, and do nothing. [8D][8D]

Did you guys ever hear of a winch????? When I was HOPE certified, and completed the winching safety portion, handles serve an important role. The safest place to be when winching a stuck vehicle is INSIDE your own truck, with the winch remote in your hands, the wire from same run under the handle on the driver side to the winch to keep it from falling off the hood, away from the winch, and (if you choose to stop winching and pull with the truck) away from the front tire. Unless you are Paul with a wireless winch controler...sweet set up. Now if I only had a winch?

Next, they hold the front down for more traction! See what I mean. I really like my SMAs I bought from the local ford dealer when I was dropping off some custom chopper parts(long story as to what they were doing there) for $38.00.

It's a little hard to get away from the hood grille, since that is OEM
That is why I worded my comment like I did, "Why add something that does nothing"

Why thank you. I was merely the subject, my brud Mike from Wisconsin took the pic with his camera and he knows what he is doing.
