Hey guys hope everyone is doing well in the new year. I just ordered some spyder smoked led tail lights from ebay and I bought led back up lights.led front turn signals (amber)
and from hidsrus I bought 2 hid kits 8000k for the headlights and 3000k for the day running fog lights the 3000 are yellow and crystal blue for the 8000
has anyone done any of the hids or leds if so what do ya think of them?

 

I bought a HID kit from Ebay for my 04 Sierra and they were fine for the first 3 months then after that I would have problems switching from Hi to Low beam. I'm not sure on the brand but I really hated them. My low beams were the stock 9005 Sylvania Ultra Brights and the Hi beam were the HID conversion kit. When going from low to hi it would take a few seconds to warm up and would leave me with no lights. I'm not sure if it was just a really cheap kit I had ordered or what the problem was so I'd find one that has a lot of positive reviews.

As far as the taillights I run LED on my H3 and Sierra and love them. The only problem I had with the smoked ones I have my the H3 was the tinting over the reverse light. Sometimes if it was really dark out it would be difficult backing up esp if your windows are a darker tint. I'm not sure on the brand I purchased but I haven't had any problems out of them and plan on changing the front turn signals to LED as soon as I get that chance.
