i called scott's buddy in texas, and he said it's normal. it's been in the low 100's here the past few days, but i haven't been on the freeway in it. it's still acting normal on street level driving. i had some stupid meeting in SanFran yesterday, and didn't make my dealership appt. figure i'll save $100 and wait to schedule another one
does anybody know if there's an oil cooler option for these things? or is there already one on it? my old chp mustang had one, and that thing never got hot.

Yes, you could be blocking the air flow. One test is to try it without the wench. One main problem could be the fan. The fan clutch should disengage to spin faster for better cooling. Ask your dealer to perform an analysis of the system.
