Default Hey, new guy with questions

Hey guys!! Ive been trying to join the forums for a week or so, had some trouble with registering and getting emails from the site. But anyone im here now and ive got some questions.

I'll introduce myself first. My name is Jeff, Im 21 years old, and I have a Black 2006 H3 with luxury package(black leather with silver piping). Interestingly I have the adventure package tires, but not the adventure package, because someone had switched off the chrome wheels to another h3 at the dealer. I would post pics but A. I dont have any, and B. its a fairly normal looking hummer. There is a picture of it on my myspace... http://www.myspace.com/5661744 , But its unrecognizable from all the mud

Ok onto the question! So I saw someone post this product on the forums, and I fell in love with it. I showed it to some of my friends and some thought they were amazing and some thought they were awful. At the end of the day Im pretty sure ill be the one driving it, and I want them.

Now you will notice these are for the H2, not the H3, but I really want them. So here is the question. Does anyone have experience with taking off the plastic grill on the hood of the H3? My father and I looked under the hood and it appears that there are just small plastic things holding it on, which would see to make it possible to drill holes for the hood handles. I really dont want to order these if there is no way to put them on, but from the looks of everything I think we might be able to get them to work. Does anyone have any opinions on how they look in general or if you think its possible to put them onto an H3? Your advice is much appreciated.

Jeff

I think it would look sort of gaudy IMO and really getting to the point of silly..But that's my opinion..Do what you want, it's your's, so personalizing it would be understandable..

The hood piece pops off..Take the butt end of a heavy screw driver and tap on those protuding pins from underside of the hood, then prise it off once you've loosened one side enough.

I'm also new to this forum, and a new H3 owner, and have a similar question to the original poster. I admit I have not yet done my homework, but was hoping someone may already know the answer. My question: Will the stock hood handles from a H2 fit the hood insert on the H3? (I realize I will need to drill some holes!)

Thanks in advance.
