Default Help removing aftermarket Billet fuel door........

Hello. I'm new to the site. Any help is greatly appreciated! I just bought a 2006 H2. It has an aftermarket locking Billet fuel door. I'm wanting to remove it and replace with the OEM chrome Hummer fuel door. Problem is I can't figure out how it's attached. It's been installed with the black factory plastic fuel pocket removed. I have removed all the exterior bolts( just superficial around the ring) and have also removed the fuel door. The only thing left is the chrome circular ring. It's still attached tight but no other screws are visible holding it on. Please look at attached photos. Thanks for any help!!!

Has anybody seen this before? Really want to remove it without any paint damage. Any feedback would be great!

By looking at the pictures my guess would be that is held on by some 3M two sided tape. Try some dental floss or small fishing wire and gently maneuver it behind the piece. Using a back and forth sawing motion it should cut through the tape. Then use 3M adhesive remover (white can) to remove the residue. It's safe for paint and you can get it at most auto parts stores. You can also use a hair dryer to apply some heat to the area to make it easier to get through the tape. A heat gun can be used but only on low heat and very sparingly or you will destroy the paint. Good luck.
