Default Help with radio

I have a 05 h3 hummer and when you take the key out and get out of the car the radio does not go off. You have to open and close an other door to get the radio to go off. Does anyone know what my problem is and how I can fix it?
Thanks

Sounds like the driver door pinswitch/sensor might be bad. Does it tell you the door is ajar if you turn the key on and just open the driver door? Also, the radio only plays for about 15-20mins it will not play all night long when left on Retained Accessory Mode.

That's a special with the 05 model. When they actually went into production with the 06 model they fixed that problem.

It never tells you about the door being a jar or open.

You have a bad door latch sensor for the drivers door then.

I just turn my radio off whenever im getting out , as a habit but you should have that checked out since it could lead to a dead battery one day if it turns on when not suppose to.
