Default Help! Installed mudflaps...Now have small vibration sound in left front

So I installed the mudflaps yesterday and everything went well. They are all tight and fit snug. Today when i drove to work, i noticed a sort of rattle coming from the front driver side. It was noticeable at about 60 mph+. When i got to work i checked left front mud flap and was tight as could be.

My question is does the mud flap cause extra air to blow through wheel well and maybe the driver side cowl. I think my radio installer put the antenna in the left front cowl, which would make a rattle sound like the one i am hearing.

I plan on trying to lift cowl off later at home and see if something is lose. Anyone else experience anything else after putting on mud flaps??

thanks

I have the factory mud flaps on the front only and I have had no noise or vibration, at any speed.
If you want to take another shot, remove just the left front, the one you suspect is causing the noise. Drive up to 60 MPH and see if the noise is gone
Then re-install
Good Luck

Opened hood and removed cowl and checked the wires in the front corner. All seemed fine. Replaced cowl closed hood. Drove 40 miles back home without a rattle. Hadn't touched hood or cowl with mud flap installation so i have no idea. Will keep fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again. IF it does i will try what you said wfturner.
thanks

There is also a rubber flap that goes over the upper A arm, behind the front wheel and it is attached with small plastic rivets. Check that out too
Make sure your factory plastic outer fenders are solidly attached
