Help with H2 fuel door
Hello all, hopefully somebody can lead me in the right direction. I had to replace my OEM chrome fuel door on my 2006 Hummer H2 because it was pitting horribly. I went ahead and purchased a Profab brand locking fuel door. Instructions are easy to follow. My problem is with the removal of the old fuel door. Because of the pitting and rusting, every screw head popped off when trying to unscrew them from the OEM fuel door. I managed to get the old door off but the "spacer" piece of plastic that goes between the OEM fuel door and the fuel door "bucket" is still attached along with the 6 broken screws sticking out. I cannot figure out how to get this spacer off so I can somehow remove the 6 broken screws from it. Anyone have a clue? I would really appreciate the help! Thanks a ton.
