I just purchased an 03 H2 and this seat back will not release not the seat lift up; any ideas?

 

I didn't understand from your post what the problem is. I have had some sticking issues with my 3rd row seat as well. If the back is going forward, then sometimes it just takes a couple more tries at the bottom releases while pulling back on the whole assembly.
