Default Heated Seat Circuit Breaker

My driver's heated seat on my 07 H3 is not working. The light comes on at the switch. The passenger seat works great which tells me that the fuse is good. There is only one fuse located in position # 1 in the box.

The owner's manual says that there is a cct breaker under the driver's seat. Does that breaker control both seats or just the driver's?

I had a quick look yesterday but it was too cold out and stormy....I see the motor for the electric seat with a bunch of wires. That's about all.

Does anyone have wiring diagrams for the heated seat?

I'm having a similar situation with mine. Except the butt is not working on both the driver and passenger side. The back heats up perfectly on both sides.

Smile 07 H3 heated seats

Just got my 07 H3 and of course the nice heated seats are not working. I also check #1 fuse and it looks good. This seems to be a problem on the 07. I wonder what a dealer would charge to look or try to fix this.

Default Heated Seats

Downloaded the manual for 10.75 in PDF. Good source. Went to the heated seat section and the first thing they tell the mechanic is to look for any additional accessories. This kind of sent a light bulb off and I noticed that my DVD players in the headrest are all connected under the driver seat. I think who ever had these installed used the wires from the heated seats to power the DVD players.
Not sure if this makes a difference but I sure have one mess of wires under my seat. By the way the DVD players work great.

I also think that the heated seat covers from auto sport are a cheap fix for the problem. You can get a good looking pair of heated seat covers with a control that plugs into your 12v output plugs for around 300.00. If you bring your car into a dealer and say that my heated seats are not working, you are probably looking a double that.
