I think you have a problem and need to take it back to the dealer. I've had my H3 for only 2 weeks and the recycle and A/C lights in the middle of the 2 left ***** are on bright and visible when on. It's summer in FL so I haven't turned my AC off since I got it so I can't tell you if it "leaks" when off. I do noticethat when I have the position **** on main vents and feet that it does vent some of the air to the defogging vents. I notice this at night because the intense humidity outside causes the glass directly in front of the vents to form condensation.

Ok, sorry. I have all heat/air circulation shut off, I still feel heat or cold air coming out of the vents.

Okay I think I see..If all the fans are off and the button so the recirculate is off too..you still have faint air flow from the vents..is that right?

If this is the case..then that is perfectly normal, as when the recirculate is OFF the forced air over the hood will come on in through the vents...Course if your standing still and air is coming through the vents then this is not right and means the fan is still running

Well, I too have a problem with vents. First, A/C when turned on 3 or 4 was very loud, so the dealer replaced the engine.

Right now it's quiet, unless I close the driver/passenger vents and air is coming only thru the ones by the windshield - then it is loud as hell... Is THIS normal? Or should I visit the dealer again?

Replaced the engine????...do you mean fan motor?

The noise is normal if you force air through a smaller opening...velocity increases and so does the noise..
