Headrest DVD Power
Hi all,
I am trying to install the Vizualogic Headrest DVD system on my '07 H3 and I do not know where to get Constant +12V and Accessory +12V. I do not have the electrical schematics... [:@]
I already pulled 3 wires (Constant 12V, Accessory 12V and Ground) under the instrument panel. Where should I connect them???
I have a multimeter. I saw some unconnected wires for trailering (I think) under the stereo and some more next to the parking brake under the instrument panel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Theo.

RE: Headrest DVD Power
I have the power seats and I already run wires to the radio & instrument panel. The GM DVD Installation instructions say the following:
"From vehicle accessory power, T-tap brown accessory wire to jumper harners and ground with 10mm bolt."
That accessory power is under the instrument panel. I looked but there are several brown wires there. One of them is in the bundle of unconnected wires that I saw. I am guessing that that might be the Accessory Power wire. Does anyone know? How about a Constant 12V wire?
I am used to working on classic cars with electrical schematics... I do not want to mess too much with my Hummer...

RE: Headrest DVD Power
Thanks guys.
I ended up using the contant 12v and ground from the unused trailer wires behind the stereo. For the accessory 12v, I tapped into one of the wires going to the rear window wiper. I checked it with the multimeter. All these wires were close to each other behind the stereo cover area.
All is good now.
