Thinking about putting headrest dvd monitor/player in my H2, was at dealers today getting new gas cap at request of Az Emissions inspection and saw that they have a system for $2200, also see ebay system for $600, TFT I think. Anyone have any experience with the combination DVD monitor and player systems?

 

I have a dual headrest system that came in my 2005 H2. I have not used it much but two of the things I dislike are:

1. You can only hear the sound through the headphones. It is not hooked up to the H2 sound system.
2. The headphones get the sound via infrared receivers. If you happen to turn your head the wrong way, the sound crackles or cuts out completely.

If I were to install a new system I would make sure these two issues were addressed.

 

I just put in the Vizualogic headrest and a kenwood DNX 7120. They work great. My kids love it.
