Default Headlight bulbs

Is there a certain way to get the headlight bulbs out of their sockets? Can't seem to remove them from my 07 H3?

Super easy. Open the hood, reach in from behind the headlight and grab hold of the plastic ears of the bulb base and give them a 1/4 turn. Remember left loosey.

Default Thanks

But that's not the problem. I can manage that without issue. The problem is removing the actual bulb. I've pulled on it but can not remove it. Is there a way it has to be turned or something to that affect?

The actual glass bulb and plastic base are one unit

If you do touch the glass ... wipe it down with rubbing alcohol. Clean them thoroughly. It's the oil from your skin that causes a reaction with the glass.

Default Ok

Don't know how to explain it. Totally understand the bulb and the plastic base are all one unit. I've owned other vehicles and have replaced lights prior to this. I installed all my lighting in my H3 and re wired my fogs. But for some reason the entire headlight bulb, plastic base and all will not let me un plug it. I undo the small plastic clip from the base. But as I pull to unplug the entire unit. It will not budge.

Were the new lights you installed a higher wattage then OEM? Maybe you overheated the connector and melted it to the lamp holder?

Bingo ! I'll bet that is what happened.
He will have to describe it better or pics will help. I don't really understand what he means by "re-wired"
