so we will ban him..if people didnt FREAK OUT every time someone who is obviously trouble to cause trouble made a little comment, they wouldnt bother. so someone comes on and sats something stupid....why not try to ignore them, instead of letting them get under your skin?

also, if you would like, i could turn on "email verification" for a little while..see if it runs him off...?

 

That should be on all the time..or does it slow down the server?

 

the problem that we have run into with email verification is...when a server sends out as many emails as ours does (pm notifications, subscriptions, etc) other servers recognize that our server sends out a million emails a week, and label it as a spam server, although it isnt. that means that with some email servers (comcast email addresses, for instance) reject every single email that we send them. if i try to email a possible vendor, and i see a comcast email account, i have to use my personal email account. so, when we did have email verification, a great many people were not getting them, as they were getting caught up in spam filters..[&o]
id like to have it on all the time, believe me...
