Default Has anyone installed 3:73's in their H2 for gas mileage?

I have an 05 H2 SUT and was considering putting in 3:73's to try and get more mileage. Any thoughts?

Also changing the to 3.73 want save as much to make it worth it . You would have to at least change to a 3.55's or even 3.23

Your problem isn't gear ratios, it's wind drag. Hummers have the aerodynamics of a brick.

My mileage went from 12.9 to 10.5 in about 2 months...something isn't right - its not the $ I'm worried about, its the fast decline.
Anything I can/should be doing to help - besides stop driving it like a raped ape? Its an 04 so it has some age behind it.

I expected a drop in the winter, especially ours with the mountains of snow we get every other day but down to 10.5 was pretty drastic. Last couple of years it dropped to like 11.8 but never this low. Just worried its more than they typical wrath of winter causing it.
