H3T Water Possible sunroof drain question...
Hi room,
It's been a while since I have been on the forum and posted.
Since my last post I traded my H3 for an H3T - great truck!
I have noticed that if my car is parked, and A/C has not been used, there is sometimes a puddle under the right front (near the tire) where there would be a water puddle had the a/c been used.
Spoke with the dealer and they said that it could be if I used the front windshield defroster... but I hadn't.
Most recently, I took it for a wash, drove it about 100km after in dry weather and then parked it for the weekend in my garage. 2 days later there was a puddle and dripping from my vehicle in the morning.
I am thinking maybe the sunroof isn't draining properly, although I do hear it drain during a car wash or if rain.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks,
/Mike.

when i got my h3 "skylite" i tested it to see how/where it drained.
i parked nose down hill and poured a cup of water in the front, left, then right ,to see it flow thru.
then parked nose up hill and did the rear.
all 4 corners dump out by the wheels behind the fender liner.
if yours dont drain in one corner , u gotta look under headlineror ? for a bad/plugged hose
there have been posts here about that

Thanks for the reply. Dealer checked it out. Says all drains are clear... They said there is a spot where water can accumulate on top of a frame rail so this is likely it. Cab seems to be dry so I hope all is fine. I did notice in the past that the skid plate would retain water sometimes, so maybe it's a similar situation..
