H3T V8 overheating
Can someone please tell me if they know what GM is saying about the hummer H3T V8s overheating in the heat of the middle east....I am a pilot from Texas living in the UAE and have just bought the first H3T V8 sold here.
Since I have purchesed my vehicle there has been a "stop sale" in the reagion because of "overheating concearns" from GM.
The problem is I can't get a solid answer from anyone here is it the Engine or the Transmission that might overheat.
Does anyone know for sure?

I'm also in line for a H3T in UAE: and I'm also trying to find out. Did you sign a disclaimer when you bought it that says you are responsible for any damage occuring due to overheating?
The GM guys are now checking for me to see if retrofitting the fix (when it comes) will be at my expense or covered under their warranty.
If it's something like the radiator needing upgrading, then it would not be a big deal.
How bad is your overheating? Do you notice it with your truck? Does it happen during regular use or only when pushing it?

you could try adding "wetter water" or another product like that racers use it because they can`t use anti-freez the other thing you could try is getting a larger rad like one from "Be-cool" or "Griffen" they are aluminum and are much larger with larger tubes and more finns per square inch.... that is about the only thing i can think of that would fix the problem right that and adding an aftermarket electric fan

Yes I signed a disclaimer and it apears that GM really is not in a hurry to fix the problem so I am in contact with some local people that have Bee Cool looking at making a new radiator with electric fan for my truck....So farit has not overheated but I have not taken it offroad yet because of my concearsn....I will say that I am happy with the truck so far.
