h3t covers
Hi
Any recommendations for all weather covers
which will neatly cover the side rail steps and the entire truck bed
I am not looking for tonneau covers ;-)
Also ,
Are they any other manufacturers for cargo/all purpose chest boxes other than the ones sold by the dealer for the H3t
Thanks for your help

I just put the Diamondback cover on mine http://diamondbackcovers.com/h3t/index.php As for a tool box I'm sure the other companies have a size that will fit but I haven't looked.

HT3 Covers
I have a Roll-N-Lock cover on my HT#3. It is a great cover that allows you to retrat it when needed for hauling large items, is cut proff and locks which also locks your tail gate since Hummer did not put a lock on this vehicle. $1150 delivered.

Same as above, Roll-n-lock. Installed myself, haven't drilled holes for the drain plugs, but there were no modifications with the cover - exactly what they said. I would recommend it over everything else I have seen.
Only issue, the tailgate piece (which holds the tailgate shut/locked) is held on be five screw and sticks up about an inch when the tailgate is lowered. This would have been an issue when I purchased a large gun safe since it weighed in around 500 lbs. if I was attempting to pick it up over the lip. Luckily, I got it the week before I put on the cover.
Download the installation guide and check it out.

Roll 'n Lock drainage
Installed the roll 'n lock this weekend. Looks great, operates great. Very happy.
One question to run by folks ... the housing drainage system requires running two vinyl tubes our the front (cab) end of the bed wall. To do so, two holes must be drilled.
Done and done. But I am now concerned about raw steel work (caused by drilling) exposed to the elements and consequent rust. I used clear coat immediately after drilling to offer a layer of protection. I used a brush to attempt application through the hole to the opposite side, in the void space between the outer bed wall and the cab. I'm not satisfied/comfortable.
Any ideas on protecting this metal?

Hi, i think you may find what you are looking for in the below link.
from that website i purchased the 3 folds soft tonneau cover. it is very good and reliable. there is some leakage but only few drops sometimes. the price was the cheapest which is around 350$.
