Default H3T Accessories in 2015

Looking to get some new accessories for the H3T? Where is the best place to get H3T accessories now-a-days? And I imagine for most things...you can get H3 since the H3T is more or less the H3T from the back door up. Right now, I'm looking to finally get some side steps and maybe a new grille guard(probably just clean my current one up and repaint though).

and are the OEM steelies for the H3T a thing of the past....do I give up on my current rusted ones and finally just get a new style. and on that note...does anyone know the specs on the OEM black/gray steel wheels offhand...I'm currently at work and would like to do some googling but I'm not sure of the info to plug in when looking for the right wheels to fit my 315/75/16 toyo open countrys M/Ts (and yes...no mechanical experience here).

Thoughts on these side steps:

vs these:

Amazon.com: N-Fab H0464 Wheel to Wheel Nerf Step: Automotive Amazon.com: N-Fab H0464 Wheel to Wheel Nerf Step: Automotive

thanks guys!
Terry

While it is true that the H3 and the H3T share a lot of parts from the front door forward, the wheel base on an H3T is longer. So that means that a nerf step for a H3 will not only be too short, it also has different mounting points.

Look here for H3T steps: Hummer Parts and Accessories: N-Fab Hummer H3T Side Step Nerf Bars (6 Step)

I would clean up all the rust and refinish it with bedliner.

As far as side steps I have a set in MI. Where are you located?

I ordered the 2 step side steps...i'll continue using the foot on the tire method for getting into the bed.

New question: still looking to get new wheels for the H3T...gonna clean up the OEM steelies also but I'm in the market for some newer wheels. Does anyone know the specs of wheels offhand...I currently have my OEM steelies wrapped in Toyo Open Country MT 315/75/16's. Gonna keep the tires but get new wheels but I want to do some searching from work and don't know my what I should be looking for. I'd like to get something similar to this ( American Racing Black Baja ) if possible to fit my current tires.

Wheels will need to have 3 things:
1) 6 x 5.5" bolt pattern.
2) Backspace of about 5.75"
3) Center bore of 101mm minimum.

Backspace of 5.75" is needed to locate the tire correctly to prevent rubbing.. You will see wheels spec'd with an offset number. You cannot go by that. Look for the backspace number or have the wheel dealer calculate it for you.

H3 wheels are hub centric, meaning they locate on the center hub, which is 100mm diameter. So you need to clear that with a center hole of at least 101mm diameter.
